JFK-LHR – early morning arrival at Heathrow

Wednesday 30th May, 2012

We flew out of JFK, New York, last night, on the first leg of our expedition – arriving into a hot, sunny, early morning Heathrow Airport. Its only 7.30am and the sun is already burning through the clouds. It feels like the New York heat we just left behind! Little did we know…the weather would not, alas, stay this way. Rain, rain and…more rain, was to come.

First things first though: caffeine!!
