We have the Walkie Talkies for the expedition!! Florio & Mike test them out at Woking station!

HUGE thanks to our great mate (and an old skateboarding buddy of Florio’s – from back in the day!), ‘Mikey Mike’ O’Brien of Open Cast Software and TheWorks Gallery for the product donation to our ‘River Gambia Expedition 2012 – 1000km source to sea African odyssey‘ cause. Yet another thing that we can cross off our ‘Wish List’

‘ear, ‘ear – Mikey M shows off his product donation: Motorola ‘Talkabout’ Two-way Radios

Test run…

“HELLO! HELLO! I’M AT WOKING STATION, INNIT!”– Florio & Mikey M doing a good impression of Dom Jolly!

The ‘Motorola ‘Talkabout’ Two-Way Radio’s’ will definitely come in handy when we’re not on the River Gambia, and have to trek through the West African bush – whether it be in Guinea, Senegal or The Gambia. Especially when popping out in the middle of the night, to spend a penny…I won’t have to scream half as loud for Flo to come and ‘atchya!’ (shoo!) away a spiky-toothed primate, standing stand between me and our tent!! “H TO BASE. BABOON!! OVER!!”

Respect, Mikey M. See you ‘Up North’ soon!

Big Love from the Flo-Jo’s xx
