The River Gambia Expedition 2012 is dedicated to the memory of a dear friend, inspirator, and one of life’s great storytellers – James English, 1939-2011. Co-Founder: Makasutu Culture Forest, The Gambia, West Africa.

Makasutu and The Gambia will never be the same without this special man being present. However, his presence will always be felt.

Out thoughts are with his family – and, especially,  Lawrence Williams (co-founder of Makasutu)

Rest in peace, dear heart.

Love Florio & H xx
